I'm Mario Rosas Otero, a PhD Student at Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya and First Stage Researcher at Barcelona Supercomputing Center. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Architecture at UPC, focused on AI model optimization for embedded systems.
My experience combines research and industry across autonomous driving, data engineering, and applied machine learning. At BSC, I have worked on reinforcement learning-based path planning integrated into Apollo and validated in CARLA. In industry roles, I have developed ETL pipelines, monitoring workflows, data visualizations, and ML-based solutions using cloud and on-premise stacks.
Beyond technical delivery, I enjoy leading collaborative initiatives and community work, including organizational roles at RIIAA LATAM. My core stack includes Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, CUDA, ROS2, Google Cloud, and Azure.
