I'm Mario Rosas Otero, a dedicated professional with a robust background in Technology, holding an undergraduate degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. My passion for coding has driven me towards a career filled with exploration and innovation in fields like Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence and Cryptography. My academic journey has recently expanded to include a Master of Artificial Intelligence, in cutting-edge fields such as Computer Vision, Human Language Technologies (NLP), and Reinforcement Learning.
Professionally, I've taken on the role of a Data Engineer at a company specializing in monitoring IT infrastructure and web services. In this capacity, my responsibilities span across a wide array of technical tasks, from ETL processes and data extraction using APIs and Webhooks to data processing, cleaning, and storage in both structured and unstructured databases. My work doesn't stop there; I also engage in backend software development, creating tools and plugins for our monitoring platforms, automating system failure notifications, and analyzing data to derive insights, primarily using cloud computing platforms, with a particular emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), multiple monitoring platforms, and programming mainly in Python and JavaScript to implement scalable solutions. My experience also includes using VMware and Docker for virtualization and containerization, respectively.
